The "There is no default printer currently selected" error can occur in any
of the following conditions:
No printers are currently installed.
Install a dummy printer in Windows' Printers control panel applet.
No default printer is currently selected.
In the Windows Printers control panel applet, set one of the available
printers as the default printer.
The default printer name is longer than 80 characters.
In the Windows Printers control panel applet, rename the default printer
using a name of less than 80 characters. You may also need to
temporarily select a different printer as the default, then re-select your
original printer as the default once again.
Windows is inconsistent in the way it returns the names of the printers on
the computer.
If Windows returns two names for the same printer that do not match
exactly this error will result. This may be alleviated by temporarily
selecting a different default printer, then setting your original printer as
the default once again.
If none of the above situations apply to your computer, please contact
Maximum Output Software for further assistance.
A future update for FileBack PC will be better equipped to deal with the
situations listed above.
