| FileBack PC locks up or gives an error message at startup |
In most cases this is caused by a corrupted configuration
file. Rename your FileBack.FBCfg file (see article "Location
of FileBack PC Configuration Folder" for location) and attempt to start FileBack PC. If it starts
normally you can use the File / Open Configuration File and load the backup FileBack.FBBkCfg file. If it does not start with the configuration
file disabled, please contact us.
If you are running Release 18-May-2006 or newer, hold down the Control and
Shift keys while FileBack PC is starting to bypass the configuration file.
